CALL FOR SESSIONS

This year we are collecting session proposals via the sessionize platform.
You can submit your English and Spanish session ideas here.
NAHJ welcomes pitches for programming ideas for the 2026 NAHJ Conference being held in New Orleans, July 22-25, 2026.
NAHJ is looking for session ideas that demonstrate relevance to journalism or media-related fields. Each proposal is expected to include hands-on skills training.
Decisions will be made by the NAHJ2026 Programming Committee and will be based on the following criteria: overall quality, well-defined topic, timeliness of topic, relevance to the profession, and speaker affiliation.
Timeline
Jan 9-16: Track Organizers review all submitted pitches
Jan 16-23: Track Leaders makes final decisions regarding pitches
Feb 2-6: Submitters are contacted about the status of their pitches
